Succotash is a cultural hub,  honoring the culinary traditions of fine Creole, Cajun, and Southern Cuisine, and promoting Visual Arts, Live Music, and the Performance Arts. Original art works by local artists decorate the walls, live music emanates from the back room on Saturdays. And on first Thursdays when we host Improv Comedy. We've been trying to get Shamu back ever since Mardi Gras! Featuring Shamu (aka, Chris Mankoff) on fiddle, guitar, & vocals, Rytas Vilgalys on accordion, Jean More on guitar, trumpet & vocals, and Andres on drums, Shamu Garcon is a seasoned authentic Cajun band that blends perfectly with the Succotash vibe.
No Genre is off-limits for this unique group of song interpreters. Matt Vorzimer, aka eCussionist, is a drummer, DJ, producer, songwriter, and educator. Tonight's performance will include Brandon Shamar on piano & synthesizer, Myk'l Hnna on vocals, and Matt Vorzimer on drums & electronics.
